Enjoy some of the entertainment that flourished during the Edo and Meiji periods with local plays, puppet plays, and storytelling.

The Japanese traditional performing art "Kabuki" was the most popular entertainment in the Edo period. Some ordinary people started acting themselves, not only watching Kabuki drama. Plays established in this way by ordinary people of the time will be performed in the event, along with various types of storytelling that enjoyed popularity in the Edo and Meiji periods.
