The Tama River connects folk performing arts.
The Tama River has supported people’s livelihoods by offering rich nature. An original performing culture developed in the river basin. In order to increase understanding about the locality and give people a chance to cherish the Tama River, folk performing arts nurtured in the Tama River basin will be assembled in one hall. Please enjoy the Tama basin folk performances including the Lion Dance, Japanese drums, dance songs and musical accompaniment, which are rarely seen in everyday life.
